Favourite Floral Bomber

The amount of compliments and comments this jacket has had is crazy, therefore all the information regarding this amazing bomber is all within this post. And yes yet again some more tropical print.
I have seen this jacket in a few places and I was obsessed instantly, but I was shocked at what good value for money this jacket actually is. Boohoo.com have outdone themselves with this one! At first glance it looks like a fifty, sixty pound purchase from Topshop due to it's scuba material. It's such a fab jacket to jazz up any plain colour outfit, jeans or leggings and really adds some brightness to your day. I was amazed when logging into Boohoo to find out this was only twenty pounds!!! Wearing a jacket out isn't something I tend to do, which in the rain or winter probably isn't a good idea, so I have only worn this during the day so far when I've been out to meet friends or shopping. It looks great with some jeans or a plain jumpsuit and some converse or jellies.
All I can say from this short and sweet post is this is a must have in your wardrobe this summer. How can you say no?!

Inside My Make Up Bag

I am such a girlie girl, I cannot function without my make up, extensions, tan, you name it. So one post I thought would be a nice thing to do would be to show the world the inside of my make up bag. I use such a wide range of products and brands and mix them up for different occasions, therefore throughout this post I will do a whirlwind tour of what I have found great to use. All product information will be posted below so you can go out and try these yourself.
Before applying my foundation I use 'Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream' to even out my skin tone before using 'MAC Studio Fix Fluid'. As I use self tan a heck of a lot, I buy a slightly darker colour to my skin tone purely because it evens everything out when I'm a shade of orange. So if you're a tanner like me I really would recommend this!
After my foundation I use the INCREDIBLE 'Benefit Hello Flawless Custom Powder Cover Up', which really gives my skin a nice finish and blends everything together. I cannot leave the house without one of these compacts in my handbag. I use the colour 'champagne' but they come in a range to suit any skin colour. They're also fantastic if you have slightly oily skin as they help to bring this down. To add some extra colour to my face I use 'Benefit Hoola Bronzer' which I put all over my face and then on the apples of my cheeks I use 'Benefit Hervana Blusher' which is presented in several lovely shades of pink to bring the colour out in your cheeks. To finish off I apply 'MAC Mineralise Skin Finish' in either 'lightscapade' or 'soft and gentle' I usually add this to my cheek bones then dab some on the brim of my nose and my forehead. If you're off partying then it never hurts to add a bit more. To fill and shape my brows I use another MAC product as I am obsessed, which is 'Strawberry Blonde Veluxe Brow Liner' which comes with a brow brush at the end to help you groom your eyebrows into shape. These are amazing because they're not sticky and when they're really sharp they leave your brows looking amazing!
During the day on my eyes I always add a base coat of 'Urban Decay Eyeshadow' in 'naked'  which comes as a single compact, before adding some colour from either 'Urban Decay Naked Palette 1,2 or 3'. My favourite base colours would have to be 'half baked, chopper and tricked', then when I'm going on a night out or fancy adding some more depth, I blend 'blackheart, mugshot, smog or snakebite' or a mixture into the crease of my eyelid. If you want to add some shimmer into the corner of your eyes near your tear duct to bring out the colour, a fab trick I learnt is to add a bit of silver so I use 'MAC Eyeshaow' in 'forgery'. Just so I don't ramble on too long, if you have a look at my previous mascara post, you can see which mascara I use and how I apply it. Nights out or when I fancy it are the main times I use eyeliner but when I do the best liquid one I have found is 'Benefit Magic Ink' because it is so so easy to apply and stays jet black for a very long time and you rarely need to reapply.
Finally to finish off I use any kind of lip balm or 'MAC Lip Primer' before adding my all time favourite 'MAC Lipstick' in 'myth' as I LOVE having pale lips!
Always finish off your make up with either a spritz of hairspray (yes it really works) or 'MAC Skin Finish' just to hold everything in place.
There are so many more fantastic products but I will be here until Christmas, so keep checking my Instagram as I will post photos of anything that I have tried and loved.

Bralet Lovin'

The person who invented the bralet in my opinion deserves an award!

I hope you have gathered by now that I absolutely love tropical prints, so as you can imagine I could not leave Topshop without these two beauties. Bralets are one of my favourite garments in my drawers because they are available in so many different colours and prints and can be worn both day and night. My advice for the best would be to visit Topshop or look online at Missguided, not only because they are two of my absolute favourite stores but because I feel they do an amazing range.
Although these bralets are both different styles, I have worn them both with jeans during the day so far and a blazer, jelly shoes or converse. They look fab with high waisted jeans or shorts which you can then style up with some big jewellery and a belt.
Seeing as I'm returning to Florida this summer, making day trips and attending festivals, they will be a perfect garment to match up with anything! Some of my favourite recent outfits have been matching the leaf print with white high waisted jeans and the baby pink with denim jeans and a pink blazer for a real girlie look.
Keep checking my instagram for photos of these two styled up in different ways. I'll post where everything I'm wearing is from you guys can put your own twist on the outfits.

Pretty Playsuits

Oh my! I fell in love with this beautiful Oh My Love London playsuit at first sight. I haven't got reems and reems to say about this product as I personally think it sells itself. I love buying products from the Oh My Love London website because they always come so beautifully wrapped, almost like a present so it adds to that extra excitement when you get your mail.
This playsuit is such an ideal outfit for the summer as it's made from a lightweight floaty material, so it would be lovely and comfortable to walk round in during the day and if it's a slightly stuffy evening. The watercolour print really makes it stand out I think as it looks delicate and girly, therefore it will definitely be coming along to Florida with me! I wore it recently with my leather jacket and little black ankle boots which gave the overall outfit a bit of a biker style look. However I think this can easily be styled with some sandals for the day and night as there are so many different tones running through it you can match it up with lots of different things.
If you haven't already checked out Oh My Love London, as well as their website a lot of Topshop stores stock a lot of their products as well as Topshop online so I would highly highly recommend having a look at them because their stuff is absolutely amazing and no doubt I will have many more of their garments to share with you.

My Mascaras

Following up from the post on my Instagram, lots of my friends and girls I get chatting to on nights out always seem to ask me what mascara I use. I'm starting to take it as a compliment as it must mean I'm gaining the desired effect of long full lashes!!!
MAC has always been one of my favourite cosmetic brands ever since I started wearing make up, purely because I love how long the products last and the finish they give you. I have tried most of their mascara range but have come to the conclusion that these are my two favourites. I wear them both together as they make my lashes look thick, dark and full.
I apply 'Zoom Fast Black Lash' (which is the bottom one) first as it defines lashes and adds colour to them, before adding the top mascara, 'Opulash Optimum Black', to make my lashes darker and thicker.
If I'm going on a night out I tend to add more Opulash as I prefer to wear liquid eyeliner and blend lots of gold and dark shadows. However if I'm just going into uni or not fancying applying more make up, I use both mascaras together but only add a thin layer of Opulash to make my eyes appear bigger and brighter. The second photo is from New Years 2014 where I used lots of both product and my make up looked exactly the same hours after the clock struck twelve!
One huge benefit of MAC mascaras is that the tube seems to be never ending! I wear mascara almost every day and one of these can last me at least 2/3 months. A high recommendation and something I never leave outside of my make up bag! Both these products are available in MAC's 'Sized to Go' range, which is ideal for a clutch bag.

American Apparel Goes Tropical!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I am obsessed with the new tropical trend! This is only the second post and I have some more to come showcasing some products in the gorgeous style that you all can get your hands on.
Leotards are a necessity in my wardrobe! Not only because they add a different edge to an outfit, but because they're so practical. American Apparel are saints for leotards as they last forever, so lucky for me, they have released their classic "Cotton Spandex Jersey Halter Leotard" in 'Flamingo Print'!! I have this style in a multitude of colours as I wear them on nights out with shorts and skirts, or during the day with jeans under a blazer or leather. Now this incredible print has come out to wet my appetite even more for tropical print, I think it's safe to say this will be appearing a lot throughout the summer. On one of our many Bank Holiday weekends, I attended the Fibre Courtyard Party in Leeds in which I styled this leotard with a denim jacket and high waisted denim shorts, high tops and big jewellery and     hair for the daytime festival look.
These leotards are so comfortable to wear and I would highly recommend checking out your nearest American Apparel store or their website, as these come in a wide range of colours and funky prints that fit any season. I have linked the Flamingo print style underneath but from there you can view their other options as well.

Beach Ready in Tropical Print

In many more posts that I have to come, you’ll see that I am a huge fan of tropical prints this season. As I’m currently building up my summer wardrobe, one massive element of any girls holiday collection is always new swimwear! I’ll be jetting off to Florida at the end of August, therefore I had the perfect excuse to invest in some new poolside attire. This gorgeous set from ASOS is fab as the colour will look amazing with a tan and is the perfect summer print. I have always found that ASOS swimwear has lasted me well and is very reasonably priced! The bottoms have tie sides so you can easily adjust the print, while the bandeau top does up with a clasp. I would thoroughly recommend this in any girls bikini drawer, whether you’re off somewhere exotic, or catching some rays in the back garden.

Classy Essentials

I had to begin by blog with one of my favourite, timeless designers - Christian Louboutin. What girl does not dream of flashing some red soles to the world? This summer with the espadrille trend in full swing again, CL has graced us with his own version of the classic style. They are made in gorgeous neons such as pink and blue as well as tropical and leopard prints, but you can also keep it simple with a black or white pair. There is also the option to choose a plain satin finish or have the embroidered logo on a cotton finish. Either way, they are the perfect summer shoe to jazz up some jeans or day trousers and skirts but can also add some extra style to a casual evening outfit as another option to sandals. Me being me I just had to have the electric pink pair!

So far I have put them with white and dark wash jeans, both skinny and looser fit. It’s safe to say, these will be appearing with many other summer combinations!
