Dark Waters Boutique

I was very lucky enough recently to be sent this gorgeous co-ord from a boutique I came across on Instagram called 'Dark Waters Boutique'. I think it's safe to say its such a cute piece for summer both together and styled separately. Equally, pastels are so fab at the moment and this baby blue tone really tops the whole piece off. The material is so comfy and adds a girly edge to the outfit and the little flower details make it that little extra bit summery.

The girls from the boutique were so kind to gift this set to me, but it is sold as the 'Hollow Out Co-ord' on their site. Girls, you must have a look at their fabulous range, all links will be posted below. Thank you Dark Waters, I cannot wait to wear this throughout the summer!

Longchamp Love

Longchamp accessories and luggage have to be the most practical but stylish and good value for money range around. This particular style comes in 13 different colours and of course folds up in the traditional Longchamp way. It is so useful for festivals or travelling as you surprisingly can fit a lot inside it, a typical Mary Poppins bag! I chose this particular colour 'paper' as I felt it would go with a lot of different things and can be used in any season. This is a fabulous classic piece of luggage every girl should have.

Handmade Twin Sets

I had to take some time to write about this girl's amazing handmade twin sets. Georgia is a nineteen year old fashion design student at Manchester School of Art, she's always made clothes, but has only recently started selling them. In my opinion, she should have started earlier her garments are just beautiful!
Her style is perfect for summer and festivals, several girls purchased different twin sets from her for Parklife festival last weekend and I only wish I'd been on the ball and ordered one myself. As you can see from the photos, Georgia uses lots of different fabrics and can create any style you like for just £40.

I came across Georgia's pieces on Instagram and would highly recommend anyone to check her work out. All her details will be posted below for you to simply get in contact with her, send her your measurements and you will receive a beautifully handmade outfit. Any of the pieces will be perfect for festivals, Ibiza, summer evenings out or just a cute little day outfit. I cannot express enough how amazing these are and how good they will look this summer. There are so many handmade outfits out there at the moment, but these are by far some of the best I have seen so your next few clicks of your mouse should be taking you over to Georgia's Instagram.

The Parklife Weekender

Festivals are my calling, I absolutely love them even though I am the last person on this planet you would expect to be counting down the days to festival season each year. I had never experienced Parklife before so I was so excited to be able to attend this year. Even more so, I had never been to a festival where you could actually leave afterwards and have a proper shower and re apply your make up in a mirror bigger than a compact. Despite the rain and mud I had an amazing time! Manchester is one of my favourite cities anyway which made the whole weekend worth while. Not only did I get to see some of my favourite artists such as Disclosure, Snoop Dog, Annie Mac and Friend Within, I got to dress up in complete and utter festival girl gear. Obviously, this is another reason I love festivals because I love festival fashion. I took a range of bits and pieces with me from all over the place, such as ASOS, Topshop and Missguided, plus my beautiful silver Hunters of course. I cannot count the amount of girls I saw rocking kimonos, twin sets and bralets which are all some of my favourite wardrobe essentials this year. Who could pick a better place to flaunt them?!
If you guys haven't been to Parklife before I would highly recommend it next year, it was such a crazy fun weekend and I cannot wait for next year!

Tala Bralet - £14.99 available from Missguided
Flower Crowns are available from so many stores, I actually got mine at a festival but try Rock n Rose.

Benefit's Big Easy Review

Good Evening my gorgeous readers. I am proud to present another beauty review of one of my new found favourites. I mentioned before in my make up bag post that I am a dedicated BB Cream user, however sadly I think I may have just found something that tops that for me. Benefits 'Big Easy' is their version of the famous BB Cream and oh my does it leave you with a flawless finish! It comes in various shades to suit any skin tone in a generous sized tube. Personally I prefer applying with a foundation brush as I find when I use my fingers, my skin feels like it's carrying some extra oil. I use 3 small pea sized amounts which cover my whole face and then blend in a circular motion. Leave it for a couple of seconds to dry and even out and you are left with a perfect base to apply your other face products. It is at the higher end of the BB Cream style products, but I just feel my make up stays for a lot longer when using this product as well as my skin feeling fresh and not drowned in cosmetics.

Sparkles!

Be honest, if you walked into a Miss Selfridge store and saw this, would you walk out without it?! I have a few of these amazing pieces in my wardrobe as I think they can act as a statement piece to even the most simple of outfits. Miss Selfridge even refer to it as guilt free glamour. I couldn't take my eyes off this one. Even though the embellishment makes it heavy, it's very comfortable to wear and yet again, goes with just about anything! One thing I have learnt with items like this is you really must be careful when caring for it. I really strongly recommend following the instructions to hand wash it as the sparkle can fade from the beads and you also risk losing them. I really would not want to sit sewing all these little crystals back on, it just would not look the same.
Girls, all I can say is go into a Miss Selfridge store and I promise you will think the same as me when you set eyes on this gorgeous cami.

Pastel Co-ords

This piece has to be one of my favourite co-ords this summer, hence why I have it in two colours. It's such a trendy fit and pastel colours are so hot right now which makes it a perfect piece to wear over the summer. I have found it so so easy to style! It looks fab with a leather jacket, heels or sandals or even converse for a more casual look. With the cut being longer at the back, it makes it very flattering. One of the other great things about co-ords is that you don't have to wear them together all the time, this top looks amazing just with a pair of skinny jeans! Missguided are one of my all time favourite stores at the moment, so I was in no surprise when I opened this parcel, the quality is amazing. I hope you all have had a lovely weekend, many more posts to come.

Bunting, Pimms & Couture Millinery

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to model at a charity event raising money for a successful horse hospital. The show featured incredible millinery from Alison Tod, gowns from Charles and Patricia Lester, as well as amazing fashion by Coco Fennel.
Sadly I didn't have time to get any photos other than the one above, but once I get my hands on the professional ones I will get them up on here to show you guys. The hat I'm wearing above by Alison was featured in the Qasimi show at London Fashion Week, made from pure feathers and almost feels like you're carrying a small child on your head! I'm also lucky enough to work for Alison when I'm back from university, so being able to wear some of the amazing masterpieces was such an honour.
Cocos fashion range is just amazing! The pieces looked like something right out of Alice in Wonderland with a modern twist. I wanted to run away with everything! If you haven't had a look at her work, I have linked her website below. There is also a link to Alison's blog so you can have a look at some of the AMAZING things she does.
The show was set in a beautiful marquee, with a luncheon and Pimms bar and really was such a lovely day.

Triangl Swimwear - Perfection in a Swimsuit

I wish I could claim this beautiful bikini as my own but sadly not yet. I have been following the immense progress of Triangl swimwear and underwear for a while now, but have not been able to reach the checkout as I simply can never pick one item! I am so spoilt for choice it's like being a small child in a sweet shop.
The Australian brand make all their swimwear from neoprene, a scuba like material which I think just looks that extra little bit special on the beach. Triangl are very specific about how you should care for their swimwear. Each set comes with it's own little bikini bag as you should avoid folding or creasing your bikini to keep it looking as beautiful each time of wear. Like myself, you will certainly be spoilt with colour choices. The above photograph is their 'Chloe' style in 'Indiana Ice' which is the original style of the Triangl range and I think my upmost favourite. I am hoping and praying my bank account will allow me to buy all seven colours!!
You will come across many knockoffs of this incredibly elegant and flattering style, but why do that when you can have the original?! The company will ship from Australia, bringing this product to around £60 with shipping.
Please please go and check out Triangl swimwear and underwear if you have not already done so! You may find yourself staring at your screen in awe for a few minutes!

Feathers and Chains

This amazing bag is featured on every blog possible at the moment, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be! Sadly, I haven't had a chance to take this gorgeous creation out yet but I have many ideas in my head as to what I will be styling it with. For all of you sitting staring at the screen with your mouths watering, this cross body bag also comes in coral as well as this lovely lilac.
I can imagine it would be perfect for both daytime and evening, more for those who travel light during the day! It's big enough for a lipstick, keys and phone and possibly a small coin purse or card holder. The chain is long enough to wear over your body if you feel more secure wearing it that way rather than over your shoulder.
There will definitely be a small space in my suitcase for this little bundle of fluff.

Primping With the Stars by Benefit

There is nothing more useful than having your most essential beauty lotions and potions in bite size bottles to accompany you at all times. Nobody likes the worry that their make up is no longer as pristine as it was when you left the house that morning, but then, no one really wants to lug a huge cosmetic case around with them. Let's face it, we've all had that heart wrenching moment when you open your compact powder to find it looking like an explosion in a flour factory. Benefit kits have always been my favourite, but this one tops the list!
This beautifully boxed pack contains all the essentials to fix any mishaps or touch up facial make up, as it includes - foundation, concealer, mascara, lip and cheek stain, highlighter and pore minimising balm.
I think a lot of girls are attracted to Benefit products due to their exciting packaging and product names, but the one great thing is their products actually work! This little box that can easily be carried in your handbag is a whirl wind tour of some of Benefit's best products. There are many kits out there from this amazing company, however I would strongly recommend purchasing this one as I feel it has the best range of products that you may need access to both during the day and on a night out. Best of all, they're hand and clutch bag friendly sizes!!

Black and White

Black and white never gets old, I'm always looking for new ways to jazz it up. Therefore the current gingham trend was a perfect new twist on the classic combination. This outfit is simple, but it's one of my favourite new outfits I have worn recently. It was a chilly day so styling with a leather jacket was perfect, partly because I love adding a biker edge whenever I can.
These gingham Topshop Joni jeans have been really hard to grab hold of, so I do count myself lucky when I managed to find them in a small Topshop branch a few weeks ago. For those of you who have not tried Joni jeans yet, I really would recommend them as they are so fitting and comfortable with their high waist and thick skin tight material. The fact they have been released in gingham really excited me. I'm also wearing one of their ribbed cropped cotton t-shirts which are one of my current wardrobe essentials as they go with anything and come in such cute colours. Finishing the outfit is my favourite pair of jellies! I have always loved Vivienne Westwood, embarrassed enough to say this is my eighth pair of shoes from the brand! Although these jellies are on the pricer end of their price range, I could wear them for hours they are just so comfortable! You also get the little surprise of the fruity smell that all Vivienne Westwood/Melissa collaborated shoes all possess.

Fake Tan Favourites

Personally, I cannot function properly if I leave the house without being a slight shade of orange. I cannot live without fake tan whether it's on a night out or anything. It makes me feel slimmer, happier and all my clothes look better once I'm tanned.
Gradual build up tans are amazing and I use them also, but when you want a bit of extra colour for a party or night out, instant tan is perfect!
For a long time I have struggled to find a tan that doesn't make you look like a tangerine crocodile after a few days of wear and showering, these two however are a different story. I am a true user of both 'Soap and Glory' and 'St Tropez', so when these new tans came out I got very excited.
They're both a dark gel which goes on easily with a tanning mitt, which I would strongly advise using as it's an absolute nightmare trying to clean your hands after tanning without ruining the rest of it. The second best thing is they are both reasonably priced! To any tan user, I suggest keeping these in mind for when you next fancy some extra summer colour.

St Tropez Instant Tan - £10 available from Boots

HugoSophia Boutique

I was incredibly lucky enough to come across this fabulous little boutique on Instagram recently, based in London. If you have not made the time to explore what they do, you need a slight reality check!
The HugoSophia tagline is "Disney Princess meets Vogue", two of my favourite things in one small sentence which means we will be becoming good friends! Their product range consists of earrings, statement necklaces and rings in amazing bright bold colours. One aspect I love about them is that all the product names are based around sweets and desserts, adding such a girlie vibe to their brand.
Another really lovely thing HugoSophia do is on their website is they have a page which features photographs of their customers wearing the products which I absolutely love as girls can relate to everyday gorgeous women, not just celebrities.
I haven't yet purchased anything from these amazing designers as my wish list is far too long for my bank account to accommodate, but to all jewellery lovers with a sweet tooth out there, please go and check out their website and Instagram, all links below. From recent experience, any questions you have they will answer them all for you as quickly as possible.

The New Kind of Jelly & Ice Cream

For many of you, jelly shoes were cute, glitzy shoes you had as a little girl at the beach. Usually 9 times out of 10 they were pink! I for one love that they are making a comeback as they go with just about ANYTHING.
In the past couple of weeks I have invested in pink, white and nude jellies as for me, they will be the easiest to match to my outfits and will get the most wear. You don't have to splash out on these as most stores such as Topshop, Ark, ASOS etc stock them in multiple colours. I will worn you it is a bun fight trying to get hold of a Primark pair as they go so so quickly! I got mine from New Look which are also stocked on ASOS, where you can buy many different colours as well as different styles of jelly shoes. I absolutely love them because I feel they're such a girlie cute pair of shoes to chuck on with any outfit to add a summery feel. My Mum said it reminded her of when I was little when I walked through the door with a pair of these. They're also surprisingly comfortable! I have spent long days out shopping or at uni and have not felt in any typical shoe pain by the end of the day. As most things do, they look fab with jeans and leggings if it's a bit too chilly to bring out a dress or shorts.
In this photo I have added some Topshop pastel lacey socks, which I never would have done until one of my best friends, who is a massive fan of these socks did it with her pair. Really credit goes to her here. These also look so so cute in baby pink with pink jellies, I really felt like Barbie on vay cay!!

White Jelly Shoes - £9.99 available from New Look, ASOS New Look Stock
Topshop Lace Socks - £3.50 or 3 for £8 available from Topshop
